Why Poetry Is Like Rain To A Desert?
Words are a mental paint brush. They inspire, warn, communicate, share, love, and capture the imagation. Writing releases the soul and shares the most inner essence of our existence. I write to give light to conscious thought.
It helps to bring reality into focus. Many write to record the change of the times. Words are symbols that carry meaning. The meaning is agreed upon by collective conscious and interpreting the meaning brings about clarity of thought and direction of action.
Poetry can say meaning things that can’t be said in ordinary conversation. It feeds the Sahara of any heart that has been drained dry of a ocean of love and compassion. The words give way to love being ignited, passion being unleashed, and hope being renewed.
Every culture, civilization, and empire had its poets. They communicated with words the emotions, actions, and meaning of the people. We never can forget nor take for granted the poets. They give us what we lack in every day life the desire to continue on when there is no other reason, but through the inspirational and prolific words that rain on the deserts of our hearts. When that happens the oasis of pure heaven starts to blossom love, compassion, and hope for all humanity.
